저희 웹 페이지를 방문해 주신 모든 분들을 진심으로 환영합니다!
저희 교회는 미국 남 침례교회(Southern Baptist)의 도움으로 1983년 12월에 하나님의 은혜 가운데 개척되어서 현재까지 건강하게 성장하고 있습니다. 또한 저희 교회는 미주 800여 교회가 함께 연합된 미주한인 침례교회에 소속되어 있습니다.
남침례 교회는 개신교로는 세계적으로 가장 큰 교단이며 International mission board(IMB)를 통해서 세계적인 선교활동을 하고 있는 복음적인 개신교단입니다. 불세출의 전도자 빌리 그레이엄, 새들백교회의 릭 워렌 등을 배출한 교단입니다.
저희 빙햄톤 한인 침례교회는 많은 대학생과 대학원생, 청년 그리고 장년 집사님들이 한마음으로 주님을 닮아가고자 최선을 다하는 교회입니다. 이 시대의 젊은 청년들을 깨워서 병든 사회를 치유하고 복음으로 주의 나라와 의를 위해 싸우는 주님의 군사들을 훈련해서 파송하는 훈련소와 같은 교회입니다.
주님을 닮아가는 삶은 바로 우리 인생의 목적이자 교회의 나아갈 방향이며 끊임없는 성화의 과정이기도 합니다. 저희는 균형있는 신앙생활을 통하여 주님의 말씀을 붙들고 세상에 나아가 소금과 빛의 역할을 감당하고자 늘 기도에 힘쓰고 있습니다.
학원 선교와 지역복음화를 감당하는 동시에 해외선교를 통해 주님이 주신 지상 대명령에 순종하며 동참하고 있습니다. 빙햄톤으로 오시는 모든 분들을 주님의 이름으로 환영하며 함께 동역하기를 소원합니다.
We welcome everyone to Korean Baptist Church of Binghamton English Ministry web page in the Name of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
Our church was founded by God's grace in December 1983 with the help of the Southern Baptist Conference and is growing healthy to this day. In addition, our church is a member of Korean American Baptist Conference.
Binghamton Korean Baptist Church is a church with mission in serving campus ministry with many college undergraduate students, graduate students, and local community members come to worship God.
Our church mission is to bring in young people from local campuses, training and building them in personal relationship with God through weekly Sunday worship services, fellowship in small groups and weekly bible studies.
Lastly, sending them out after graduation to share the Gospel in their communities and live a life of the salt and light of the world as Jesus commanded us in the scripture.
